There is no wrong answer here. A plain-English guide to picking, based on how you actually use UniGrade.
Stay here if you mainly want your running average, your classification and the mark you need on what is left. That is the core of UniGrade and it is all free, with no ads in the app.
Pick this if you want Pro for one term and its exam season, would rather not have a subscription on your card, or know you will forget to cancel. It covers about four months and then simply ends.
Pick this if you have two or more years left and want Pro for all of them. It costs less than two years of the yearly plan, covers three, and never renews.
Pick this if you track your degree across a whole academic year: coursework in autumn, exams in winter and summer, results in between, and are happy with a subscription that renews.
Pick this if you want to try Pro around a busy stretch, such as a run of deadlines, and stop afterwards. It costs the most per month, but you can cancel after the first one.

Checkout happens on Stripe's secure page. Your card details go to Stripe and never touch UniGrade's servers.
Monthly and yearly plans can be cancelled whenever you like from the billing page, which opens Stripe's subscription manager.
Cancel halfway through a month or a year and Pro keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Cancelling stops the next payment. It does not refund the unused part of the current one, which is why you keep Pro until it runs out.
A semester pass is one payment of £9.99 for about four months; a degree pass is £39.99 for three years. Neither renews and there is nothing to cancel: when one ends you are back on Free.
Leaving Pro never deletes anything. Grades, streaks, notes and history all stay in your account on the free plan.

No. The free plan has the full tracker, with years, modules, marks, planner, streaks and leagues, without limits. Pro adds extras; it never holds your own numbers hostage.
All payments are processed by Stripe, so card details never touch our servers. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time from the billing page, and our terms spell out the rest.
Subscriptions aren't refunded pro rata. Cancelling stops the next payment, and you keep Pro until the month or year you've paid for runs out. If you would rather not hold a subscription at all, the semester and degree passes avoid the question entirely.
Yes. While a pass is active, the billing page shows its end date and lets you buy another pass or start a monthly or yearly subscription at any point before it runs out.
No. Free and Pro use exactly the same weighted-average arithmetic, so your numbers are identical on both. Pro adds tools for planning and exporting, not different maths. On either plan, UniGrade's grades are estimates rather than official records: your university's exam board confirms your final classification.
Not in the app. UniGrade is an indie project built by Riley Jordan, a Software Engineering student at Bournemouth University, and ads on the free tools and guides help keep the full tracker free for everyone. Pro accounts see none anywhere, and Pro supports the project directly.
Your account, marks and classification are free for good. You can go Pro later from the billing page in the app, whenever it's worth it to you.
