UniGradeHow UniGrade actually works
Less a feature list, more the model underneath it: the weighting engine, the projection range it produces, and what is built on top of that number.
Most of what UniGrade does traces back to one calculation: a weighted average, run continuously, at three nested levels — assessments inside a module, modules inside a year, years inside a degree (see our guide to the maths if you want the formula itself). Everything below is either a view onto that number, a way to explore how it might change, or a tool built to help you act on it.
A model of your actual degree
You set up years with their real weightings, modules with their real credit values, and assessments with their real percentage weights — the same structure your university uses internally, not a generic GPA approximation. Change a weighting later and every projection recalculates from it immediately.
Banked vs completed, at every level
Every module, year and degree total shows two numbers side by side: what you have banked (treating every ungraded assessment as a zero — your worst-case floor) and your average on completed work only (your current form). Neither figure quietly assumes an ungraded piece will go well.
The exact mark you need, worked backwards
Set a target classification and UniGrade solves the equation in reverse: the precise average required on everything still outstanding, broken down per module and per year, with a status flag the moment a target slips out of mathematical reach.
A what-if simulator that never touches real marks
Drag hypothetical scores onto ungraded coursework and exams and watch projected module, year and degree grades update instantly. It is a sandbox — nothing is written as an actual result until you log a real mark, so you can explore scenarios freely.
A worst-case-to-best-case projection range
Rather than a single predicted grade, Insights shows your classification as a range: 0% on everything remaining, your current average carried forward, and 100% on everything remaining — plus which modules are pulling your average up or down the most right now.

Pro accounts can download a CSV of every module, assessment, weight and score, or generate a printable PDF transcript laid out for placement and internship applications — built from your actual entered data, not a marketing mock-up.
A planner that reads your assessment weights
A calendar and agenda view flags what is overdue, due this week, or handed in and awaiting a mark — pulled directly from the deadlines attached to your assessments, so it is never a separate list you have to keep in sync by hand.
Streaks and leagues that never touch marks
Study time, not grades, is what gets tracked socially: log a session, keep a daily streak toward a weekly goal, and climb a friend league ranked purely on effort. Your classification, module marks and average are never visible to anyone else, ever.

Private by construction
